What you missed at our Gold Coast APS Conference 2019

Sep 5, 2019 | Technology

Last month, we held yet another successful installment of our annual APS Conference  – this year held on the sunny Gold Coast. We have had an extremely busy year so far and through some hard work and innovation we were proud to announce several new products and developments in our cloud suite.

A major theme at the APS conference this year was the quickly-approaching evolution of the APS suite to the cloud. To stay ahead of the curve we have been busy redesigning our most essential applications for the cloud. A clear focus has been on preserving their functionality, and meeting the current and future requirements of clients in the modern age.

So what were some of the new products and key announcements we presented this year?

Cloud Workflow

We were proud to be able to demo our new cloud Workflow product for all user levels. We were able to show how it can improve your operational efficiency through succinct resource and workflow information, comprehensive reporting and simple best practice templates.

Cloud Ledger

We also Introduced Ledger, a new cloud product that automates and simplifies your data collections and improves data processing. It discreetly integrates with your workflow process to enable predictive analytics, alerts and support for your own APIs and, is equipped with an updated user interface.

Tax

We spoke in depth about our new streamlined Tax application that is coming to the Australian market. We’ve kept simplicity top-of-mind when designing the new Tax, as we know you would rather spend more time advising your valued clients.

Insights

We unveiled plans for our new APS Insights module, that will enable predictive analytics and forecasting capabilities at our clients’ firm. Achieved through the secure consolidation of cloud and on-site data using APIs, and the power of AI and machine learning. This will allow our clients to attain a global view of their firm.

New partnerships

The Head of Strategic Partnerships at APS, Tony Douglas, was excited to announce two new partnerships with ATOmate and Simpler Tax and further spoke on our appetite to expand our partner network further.

Thank you to everyone that attended conference, and for those who weren’t, be assured that there are exciting developments coming to the APS suite.
